- Lateefat was selected as one of six graduate students nationally to serve on the ACS Graduate Student Symposium Planning Committee (GSSPC) as public relations officer for the ACS Fall 2026 National Meeting.
- Lateefat received the ACS Younger Chemists Committee (YCC) Leadership Development Award (December 2025), which funded her attendance at the ACS Leadership Institute.
