The faculty and staff of the Department of Chemistry are dedicated to the creation and dissemination of knowledge in the chemical sciences. We strive to enable students to make meaningful contributions to the body of chemical literature, and to improve lives in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and beyond. The department focuses on providing excellent educational experiences in chemistry at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and on long-term contributions to research and service.
