Faculty from the University of Kentucky Department of Chemistry have produced massive open online courses (MOOCs) which are free and open to the public. The lectures and materials contained within the course can be utilized by high school teachers to supplement their class. In this two-day workshop, you will explore the MOOCs and other free online tools, consider areas in which these online tools might enhance your students learning and develop a lesson plan for a specific topic of your choosing. Hotel accommodations, meals and a $200 stipend will be provided.
