B.S. Degree in Chemistry - Materials

The Bachelor of Science (B.S.) Degree in Chemistry with Materials emphasis is a multidisciplinary program for students who are interested in careers as industrial or research chemists, or in pursuing graduate work in chemistry or engineering in the field of materials science. This program balances fewer required math and upper-level chemistry courses than the traditional track, with focus on real-world applications of chemistry in optics, electronics, and power generation and storage. The B.S. degree is certified by the American Chemical Society.
