Research

I work on numerous projects and help researchers from around campus understand their compounds using NMR techniques. I also work extensively in biomass characterization using NMR spectroscopy as well as biomass utilization. Currently, I am focused on oxidative techniques to depolymerize lignin as well as products and materials that can be made from lignin and other biomass components.
